Animal Adventures

Overview

The Adult Dolphin Aqua Adventure Program offers guests a once in a life time experience of meeting some of Sea World's dolphins. During this program guests have the opportunity to observe a dolphin in a deep water encounter. Each guest will have their photograph taken by a Sea World photographer and the Marine Mammal Trainer will give an informal educational. Program duration is approximately 45 minutes with approximately 20 minutes in the water.

Each experience is unique based upon the guests, trainers and animals.

The Adult Dolphin Aqua Adventure Program is available to guests 14 years of age and over at a cost of $225.00* per person, which includes one souvenir photograph and DVD capturing your unique experience.

What better way to capture your once-in-a-lifetime experience than with a souvenir DVD? Your souvenir DVD is included and features footage of you getting up close and personal with Sea World’s wonderful marine life. Take your experience home to relive again and again. 

The use of a supplied wet suit or rash vest and board shorts is required in all water-based programs and is included in the cost of the program. Sizes range from XS to 7XL. Should your size requirements not be met, please contact Guest Services to make other arrangements. Swimwear must be worn underneath wet suits or rash vests and board shorts. A deposit of a driver's license or credit card swipe will be required.

Dolphin Aqua Adventure programs are available 7 days a week and have approximately 15 participants per program. Approximate participant to animal ratio is 6:1.

Please note that the Dolphin Aqua Adventure - Adult program takes place at a different time and location to the Child program.

The Nikon Indy 300 will take place on the Gold Coast 23 – 26 October 2008. You may experience traffic delays on your route to Sea World due to this event so please allow additional travelling time to ensure you are on time for your Animal Adventures program.

CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION

• Participants must be 14 years of age or over.
• Participants must be competent swimmers.
• Participants must be able to speak and/or understand English, or have a translator participate in the program with them. There are no complimentary programs for translators. Persons acting as a translator must advise staff at the start of the program. Translators must satisfy all criteria.
• Participants must have controlled motor movement.
• Based on medical advice, participants must not be pregnant.
• Participants must not have any open cuts or infections.
• Guests with disabilities are asked to call Customer Connect on 13 33 86 directly to determine suitability to participate in the Animal Adventures programs. Please note a limited number of special needs programs are available for people with disabilities that otherwise prohibit them from participating.
