Animal Adventures

Overview

Sea World Animal Adventures provide an exclusive opportunity to join Sea World's trainers in a unique interaction with the Park's animals.

Our once-in-a-lifetime experiences include an opportunity to get up close and personal with sharks and marine life at Shark Bay, deep water and shallow water dolphin encounters for adults and children, land and water based interactions with our fun loving seals or spending a day learning how the trainers at Sea World look after and train our dolphins.

All Animal Adventures programs are structured for group participation and are not individual sessions. Each experience is unique based upon the guests, trainers and animals.

Places in Animal Adventures programs are limited and can be pre-booked online now or by telephoning Customer Connect on 13 33 86 or +61 7 5519 6200 from outside Australia. Program dates are released to be booked between 2 - 3 months in advance.

Each person (or their parent or guardian) who wishes to participate in the Animal Adventures program must read the following terms and conditions and check the criteria for participation for each individual program. No refunds will be given if you arrive for your program and do not meet the criteria.

The use of a supplied wet suit or rash vest and board shorts is required in all water-based programs and is included in the cost of the program. Sizes range from XS to 7XL. Should your size requirements not be met, please contact Guest Services to make other arrangements. Swimwear must be worn underneath wet suits or rash vests and board shorts. A deposit of a driver's license or credit card swipe will be required.

Guests are not permitted to wear any visible jewellery of any type including necklaces, bracelets, ear rings, body piercings, religious and cultural ornamentation, hair clips and pins (other than a single hair band), unless it is unable to be removed then it has to be taped.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 • Bookings can be made online or by telephoning Customer Connect on 13 33 86 or +61 7 5519 6200 from outside Australia - credit card purchases only. Any available places in programs may be purchased on the day, in person at the Animal Adventures Check-In Centre at Sea World on a first-come first-served basis.

• Participation in Sea World Animal Adventures is only available to Sea World guests, and only on the day of their visit. Please Note: General admission to Sea World is an additional cost and is not included in the price of participating in the Animal Adventures programs.

• Participants acknowledge that they will be entering an environment housing animals. Whilst Sea World takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff, participants should be aware that close encounters with animals will always involve a degree of unpredictability, where quick reaction and strict attention to directions from staff are essential. Participants release Sea World to the fullest extent permitted by law from any claim for personal injury, loss or damage arising from their participation in the Animal Adventures programs. Participants agree to comply with all lawful directions that Sea World makes in respect of their participation.

• Certain criteria must be met in order to participate in each of the Animal Adventures programs. They are strictly enforced to ensure the safety of our guests, staff and animals. All participation is subject to final assessment by the Marine Sciences staff member at the time of attendance. PLEASE check the criteria for each program. If at any time prior to the program or during the program a participant is assessed by the staff as not being able to fulfil the criteria, they will be directed to leave the program. No refund will be given.

• Guests with disabilities are asked to contact staff in Customer Connect on 13 33 86 or +61 7 5519 6200 from outside Australia to determine suitability to participate in the Animal Adventures programs. A limited number of special needs programs are available daily for people with disabilities that may otherwise prohibit them from participating.

• Availability, start times, duration times, number of participants, selection criteria and all other conditions and/or relevant information are subject to change without notice.

REFUND POLICY

• Animal Adventures bookings are non refundable.

• Animal Adventures bookings are non-transferable, not to be re-sold and not redeemable for cash.

• Animal Adventures bookings are valid only for the date, time and program specified.

• Sea World may at its sole discretion cancel any Animal Adventures program if the Marine Sciences staff member is of the opinion that extreme weather or other conditions make it impossible for the program to be held. In the event of such cancellation participants will either be rebooked into another Animal Adventures program (subject to program availability) or a full refund of program costs paid will be given to guests. Refunds will only be made to the person who made the booking.
